You may know our dear Sri Ganesha as the remover of obstacles. Always to be worshipped at the start of a new endeavor.
Recently, I found myself at the start of a huge new endeavor, helping to rebuild an entire earthquake-stricken village in Nepal, in a district called Lamjung. I first went to Lamjung 20 years ago and it was a place that brought me a lot of peace and healing in my life, and I became part of a family there. Now, we are working together to rebuild a village that is even better than it was before the earthquake.
The original carving was made by me in my studio in Brooklyn, NY, but I learned my skills as a Fulbright scholar in Nepal, working with the world-renowned statue makers of Patan, in the Kathmandu.
For each sale of this Ganesha pendant, I will be donating $65 to the rebuilding fund. You can find out more details and see how the rebuilding is coming along here:
The pendant is 2" tall and comes with a choice of gems, metal finish and chain length.
Ships in 4 days.
May your obstacles also be removed.
